In 1928, two brothers, Bill and Conrad Mull started a store on Enola Rd. It was a typical general store, which sold items such as feed and fertilizer. They also provided materials for the local agrarian population. For state employees, bi-monthly credit accounts were offered. Over the years the store had changed hands a few times and has served other purposes. Today, it is a restaurant that serves both breakfast and lunch items. They also provide deli-meats as well as breakfast meats to purchase. Swing by and say hello, have lunch, or just merely experience a part of Morganton’s history.
